This role is ideal for someone who is fast, experiment-driven, and excited to grow rapidly by working closely with the marketing team. The candidate should enjoy storytelling through video, be comfortable learning new techniques & AI tools, and collaborate with our existing graphic designer/video editor to elevate output standards.
Key Responsibilities
------------------------
Video Production & Editing
Shoot and edit high-quality videos for
IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
.
Create engaging edits with strong hooks, subtitles, transitions, pacing, audio selection, B-roll layering & color correction.
Convert brand concepts and content scripts into simple and compelling video formats.
Edit event coverage, testimonials, product explainers, founder thought-leadership clips, and investor narrative pieces.
Manage end-to-end production logistics - camera setup, framing, lighting, audio.
Storytelling & Content Experimentation
Work closely with the Content Lead to brainstorm concepts, scripts, formats and visual references.
Stay updated on content trends, video editing styles, transitions, and short-form storytelling patterns - especially like Youtube/IG creators do.
Experiment with different hooks, pacing and structures based on performance.
AI Tools & Speed
Use AI tools (e.g., Higgsfield AI, Veo 3, Runway, Pika, Adobe AI, CapCut AI, Inshot, Eleven Labs etc.) for subtitles, cleanup, VFX, object replacement/removal, VOs and workflow efficiency.
Continuously explore new tools for faster turnaround & improved quality.
Collaboration
Work alongside our graphic designer/video editor and learn/grow together.
Support the design team with basic motion graphics and visual overlays when needed.
Take constructive feedback well and iterate quickly.
Requirements
----------------
2-4 years
of experience in videography + editing for digital-first brands, creators, agencies, or production houses.
Strong portfolio with examples of:
Short-form content (Reels/Shorts/LinkedIn videos)
Story-driven edits and pacing
Basic motion graphics work
(Portfolio via Behance, Vimeo, YouTube, Instagram, or Drive required)
Proficiency with video editing tools like
Premiere Pro/Others
and familiarity with
After Effects
Comfortable with shooting equipment, lighting, and audio basics.
Basic interest in motion graphics or graphic design fundamentals.
Good to Have
Experience creating financial education / business / startup / founder-led content.
Ability to handle shoots independently.
Experience editing performance marketing video assets.
Interest in creative storytelling and brand identity.
