Role Summary:

We are looking for a

creative Videographer & Video Editor

who can

shoot and edit engaging, high-conversion video content

tailored for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This role requires expertise in

videography (camera handling, lighting, shooting)

as well as

post-production editing

to deliver professional, scroll-stopping content.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Videography & Production

Plan and execute shoots for faculty, advocates, judges, and students. Set up

lighting, sound, and camera equipment

for professional-quality shoots. Capture interviews, classroom sessions, promotional events, and testimonials. Manage raw footage, angles, and b-roll to support storytelling.
2.

Video Editing & Post-Production

Edit both short-form (Reels, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube promos, webinars) content. Apply motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, voiceovers, and sound design. Cut long lectures into highlights and ad-friendly clips. Create scroll-stopping thumbnails, hooks, and CTA slides.
3.

Platform-Specific Content

Adapt videos for vertical (Reels/Shorts) and landscape (YouTube/Facebook) formats. Ensure consistent branding, fonts, colors, and storytelling style. Stay up to date with social media trends, editing styles, memes, and sounds.
4.

Content Coordination

Work with academic and marketing teams to structure scripts and raw footage. Suggest creative promo ideas, highlight reels, and campaign directions. Organize footage and maintain a structured

media library

Required Skills & Tools:

7 years of combined experience in videography and video editing. Strong knowledge of camera operation, framing, and lighting techniques. Proficiency in editing tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva. Ability to edit with subtitles, music, voiceovers, and transitions. Creative eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and branding. Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn video formats.

Preferred

Experience in

educational, legal, or professional content

. Skills in

basic animation/motion graphics

. Photography skills (stills + behind-the-scenes).
