The Videographer cum Video Editor will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing engaging video content that effectively communicates the brand's message across multiple platforms. The role requires both creative storytelling and technical proficiency to produce high-quality videos for marketing campaigns, social media, events, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video Production & Shooting
Plan and execute video shoots for marketing campaigns, events, product promotions, and social media content.
Operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to capture high-quality footage.
Ensure proper framing, composition, and lighting during shoots.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop visual concepts and storyboards.
2. Video Editing
Edit raw footage into polished, visually compelling videos using professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
Add graphics, motion titles, subtitles, and background music as required.
Maintain brand consistency in all video outputs.
Optimize videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, website, etc.).
3. Content Development & Creative Input
Contribute creative ideas for new video content to enhance brand presence.
Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and social media video styles.
Assist in developing short reels, testimonials, promotional clips, and educational videos.
4. Equipment & File Management
Maintain video equipment and ensure all gear is in good working condition.
Organize and archive raw and edited footage systematically for future reference.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro).
Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and video compression formats.
Understanding of cinematography, lighting setups, and camera operation.
Creative storytelling ability with attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of photography and graphic design (added advantage).
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Media, Visual Communication, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in videography and editing (freshers with strong portfolios may also apply).
Proven experience in creating social media and marketing videos preferred.
