Job Description

We are seeking a Videographer/Camera Operator Intern to join our production team. This internship offers hands-on experience with a strong focus on camera operation, lighting, and set management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Camera Operation:

Assist the lead Cinematographer/DOP with camera setup, operation, and breakdown for field and studio shoots.

Technical Setup:

Learn and assist with setting up professional lighting equipment (3-point lighting), audio recording gear (mics, recorders), and stabilization tools (gimbals, tripods).

Filming Support:

Operate cameras for secondary angles (B-roll, time-lapses) and assist with slate/clapping during takes.

Asset Management:

Responsible for organizing, labeling, and backing up raw footage immediately after filming, ensuring clean file transfers.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure all cameras, lenses, batteries, and accessories are clean, charged, and prepared for the next day's shoot.

Creative Input:

Participate in pre-production planning, offering creative input on shot lists, camera angles, and visual style.

Set Protocol:

Maintain professionalism and organization on set, adhering strictly to production schedules and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree/diploma in Filmmaking, Cinematography, Media Production, or a related field. Demonstrable experience (school projects or personal work) operating DSLRs, Mirrorless cameras, or basic cinema cameras. Basic knowledge of cinematic lighting principles (e.g., key light, fill light). Familiarity with production equipment, including gimbals, sliders, and external audio recorders. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy camera equipment (required for on-location shoots). A portfolio link showcasing previous video work is required.
