Role Overview

The Videographer will be responsible for conceptualizing, filming, and editing creative video content that highlights the university's academic strengths, student success stories, events, and campus culture. The role plays a key part in digital marketing, branding campaigns, and documentation of institutional achievements.

Key Responsibilities

Shoot and produce high-quality videos for marketing, admissions, social media, and internal communication Capture video coverage of major university events, seminars, student activities, and convocation ceremonies Conduct interviews with faculty, leadership, alumni, and students Edit videos including transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, color grading, and sound mixing Collaborate with design, content, and social media teams to deliver engaging content Support live streaming of key events whenever required Maintain and manage video equipment, storage drives, and backup systems Script ideation and storyboard creation for promotional videos Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and copyright policies Stay updated with trends in digital video content and storytelling techniques

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or related field Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video production Expertise in camera operations, lighting setups, and sound recording equipment Strong editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools Understanding of color grading, motion graphics, and audio design Ability to handle multiple shoots and deadlines efficiently Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends for events Strong creativity and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in drone videography and photography Knowledge of animation or After Effects Prior experience in higher education or corporate communication setup
