The Videographer and Editor is responsible for planning, shooting, and editing high-quality video content for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes. This role involves creative storytelling through visuals, ensuring all videos align with the organization's brand, tone, and objectives.
Proven experience as a videographer and video editor.
Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Collaborate with the marketing, creative, or academic teams to understand project goals and requirements.
Plan video shoots including scripting, storyboarding, and scheduling.
Prepare and maintain all video equipment (cameras, lighting, audio, etc.).
Capture professional-quality video footage in studio and on location.
Set up lighting, sound, and camera angles for best visual results.
Direct subjects and manage shoot logistics to ensure smooth execution.
Edit videos using professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Add music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed.
Perform color correction, audio balancing, and visual enhancement.
Deliver final videos in appropriate formats and resolutions for various platforms ( social media, website,YouTube, etc.).
Contribute ideas for new video concepts, campaigns, and storytelling approaches.
Stay updated on latest video trends, styles, and editing techniques.
Ensure videos align with branding and communication guidelines.
Organize and maintain a video library and backups of all footage.
Manage file naming, storage, and archiving systems efficiently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
