Roles and Responsibilities


Collaborate with the director, creative producer, art designer and graphics designer to discuss and understand the production's visio


Review raw material to determine which shots to use in the final film


Trim and rearrange footage to enhance the video's overall quality and flow


Create the rough draft and share it with the director for feedback


Manipulate and edit video and film footage using modern editing techniques and tools


Maintain continuity while moving sho


Apply graphics, music, sound effects, dialogue and other special effects at appropriate places in the film to add scene valu


Color-correct the video to improve the viewer's visual experience


Ensure that the edited film follows a logical sequence.


Communicate with the director, assistant directors and production team throughout the project


Create and review the final cut before releasing it.


Manage and organize video files following proper naming conventions and storage procedures


Deliver high-quality video films within their deadlines


Adhere to style guidelines and maintain a consistent brand image as the director and producer require


Stay updated on industry trends, new editing techniques and popular tools to enhance creativity and productivity

Requirements


A bachelor's degree or certification in video editing, film production, multimedia, visual communication or a related field


Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightworks or Avid Media composer


Knowledge of video formats, codecs and containers


Thorough understanding of video editing and production principles, such as color grading and composition


Familiarity with visual effects and motion graphics.


Prior experience as a video editor, either in a professional setting or as a freelancer


A portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects demonstrating your proficiency in different genres, styles and techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
