At Creative Monk, visuals are everything, and we're looking for a
Video Editor
who can bring our creative concepts to life through crisp edits, smart transitions, and emotionally engaging storytelling. You'll work closely with the creative and marketing teams to produce videos that inspire, inform, and convert.
Key Responsibilities:
Editing & Motion Design
Edit reels, short-form videos, YouTube content, and brand campaigns.
Add transitions, animations, and motion graphics to make content visually dynamic.
Create promotional videos, testimonials, ad creatives, and brand story visuals.
Creative Collaboration
Work with the social media and content team to understand the creative direction.
Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions for content style and video storytelling.
Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high production quality.
Technical Skills
Manage sound design, color grading, and overall video aesthetics.
Organize footage, edit efficiently, and maintain backup workflows.
Adapt videos for multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Requirements:
Minimum
3 years
of experience as a professional video editor (agency or production house preferred).
Proficient in
Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects
(or similar tools).
Strong understanding of aspect ratios, pacing, and storytelling for digital media.
Ability to design motion elements and integrate graphics with video.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple edits simultaneously.
