We are seeking a bold, technically capable, and creatively driven person to join our team as a Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor. You'll be responsible for end-to-end video content creation: editing raw footage, graphic designing static post, designing motion graphics, adding visual effects, and delivering polished video assets across digital platforms. You'll collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to bring visual stories to life.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble raw video footage into engaging final videos (social media, brand campaigns, YouTube).
Design and implement motion graphics, animations, visual effects (2D/3D where applicable) to enhance video storytelling.
Work from concept through to delivery: storyboard, animate, motion-design, edit, colour-grade, sound-mix, compress/export in required formats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, marketing, design) to understand briefs, ensure brand consistency, and meet project objectives.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets under tight deadlines.
Keep up-to-date with motion-graphics, video-editing trends, software tools, and best practices; suggest innovation where relevant.
Maintain organised project files, archive assets, optimise workflows for future reuse.
Must have own good-performance laptop
(with required video editing & motion graphics software) -- the candidate should be equipped and ready to work on their system.
Required Skills & Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Animation, Graphic Design, Film/Video Production or related field.
Proven experience (e.g., 2-5+ years) in video editing and motion graphics.
Video editing: e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc
Motion graphics / animation: e.g., Adobe After Effects
Graphic design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.
Excellent sense of timing, visual awareness, typography, layout, colour theory. Indeed
Knowledge of video formats, codecs, compression standards, and multi?platform delivery specs.
