Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. As a pioneering institution in the convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education, MSU aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020). Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing, editing, and delivering engaging video content across various digital platforms. This role requires a strong sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and technical expertise in video editing software.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content. Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop video concepts and storyboards. Add music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to enhance storytelling. Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and communication objectives. Manage video assets, file organization, and backups efficiently. Stay updated with the latest video trends, editing styles, and software tools.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software. Strong understanding of pacing, timing, and visual storytelling. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics.

Preferred Skills:

Basic motion graphics and animation experience. Sound design and color grading knowledge. Experience in shooting or directing video content. Understanding of social media video formats and trends.
