Edit and deliver video content for YouTube (long-form) and short-form formats (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels) on a daily basis.
Work closely with the content creator / marketing team to understand themes, tone, and objectives for each video.
Optimize videos for mobile viewing--correct formats, aspect ratios, resolution (especially for vertical content).
Create supporting graphic design / motion graphics elements (such as thumbnails, intro/outro animations, overlays, etc.).
Stay updated on trending short-video styles, social media formats, and best engagement practices and implement them.

Requirements / Skills
Proven experience editing short-form vertical video content (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels) and/or longer YouTube videos.
Proficiency in one or more video editing software tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut).
Experience with graphic design tools--e.g., Adobe Photoshop--especially for thumbnails/design assets.
Good sense of storytelling for short-format content: pacing, visual hooks, engaging start, call-to-action.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, daily deliverables.
Good communication skills--able to collaborate with creators/marketers to translate video brief into end product.
