Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor cum Video Shooting Assistant who has hands-on experience handling cameras and producing high-quality video content. The ideal candidate should have a creative eye, strong technical skills in editing software, and at least 1 year of experience working in an agency or private firm. This role involves both video production (shooting) and post-production (editing), supporting our marketing, product, and content teams to create impactful educational and promotional videos.

Key Responsibilities

Video Shooting (Production)

? Assist in planning and executing video shoots for marketing, interviews, product demos, events, and educational content.

? Handle DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and other production gear.

? Ensure proper framing, lighting, and audio quality during shoots.

? Coordinate with internal teams and talents during shoots.

Video Editing (Post-Production)

? Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for multiple platforms (YouTube, ads, social media, app content).

? Work extensively with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and other editing/animation software.

? Add motion graphics, titles, transitions, color correction, sound mixing, and visual effects.

? Maintain brand consistency, storytelling quality, and timely delivery.

Requirements

Must-Haves

? Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing and production within an agency or private firm.

? Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and related tools.

? Strong knowledge of video composition, camera handling, and lighting setups.

? Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

? A portfolio/showreel showcasing previous editing and shooting work. Good-to-Have

? Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator).

? Experience creating motion graphics or 2D animations.

? Understanding of social media video formats and trends
