Job Description

:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a minimum of one year of professional experience in producing and editing videos for public awareness, educational, and digital communication campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality video content across multiple platforms, while maintaining storytelling integrity, visual appeal, and brand consistency.

The Key Role Includes:

Producing and editing videos, including advertisements, social media clips, event highlights, educational materials, and awareness campaigns.

Collaborating closely with marketing, creative teams, and stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements.

Integrating audio, visuals, text, and animations effectively to produce engaging video content.

Formatting content for multiple platforms such as YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TV spots.

Organizing and managing video assets, including raw footage, project files, and final exports.

Applying basic color grading, sound editing, subtitling, and text animations to enhance content quality.

Utilizing storytelling principles, including visual pacing, scripting support, and the use of stock footage and music, to craft compelling narratives.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree completed in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.

Certification from a reputed institute in Film Production, Media Studies, Visual Arts, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of professional experience in video editing (internship, freelance, or agency work acceptable) for educational, public awareness, digital communication, or social campaigns.

Portfolio showcasing edited video projects for various platforms, including social media, websites, and advertisements.

Exposure to editing short awareness films, cyber safety tutorials, explainer videos, animations, reels, and live session recordings.

Prior work in public awareness campaigns (cybersecurity, financial literacy, digital literacy) is a strong advantage.

Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Camtasia).

Basic motion graphics and text overlay skills (preferred: After Effects or Canva Pro animation).

Ability to edit videos for multiple formats and platforms effectively.

Skills in basic color grading, sound editing, subtitling, and text animations.

Strong understanding of storytelling principles, including visual pacing, scripting, and effective use of stock footage and music.

Basic understanding of cybercrime topics, including phishing, online scams, OTP fraud, and digital safety tips (desirable).
