Key Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for digital, social media, and marketing platforms.
Add music, voice-overs, graphics, subtitles, and effects to enhance videos.
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to understand project requirements.
Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and storytelling goals.
Maintain an organized library of media assets and project files.
Adapt videos for multiple platforms and formats (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, website, etc.).
Stay updated with the latest editing trends, styles, and techniques.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Minimum
6 months of prior experience
as a video editor.
Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and sound design.
Strong attention to detail and sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Creativity and willingness to experiment with new editing techniques.
Qualification:
Graduate in Film Studies, Media, Mass Communication, or any relevant field (preferred but not mandatory).
Certification/Diploma in Video Editing or related software tools will be an added advantage.
