Role Overview

We are looking for a creative Junior Video Editor who can edit short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style) with fast pacing, trendy cuts, engaging subtitles, effects, sound design, and storytelling aimed at virality.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form videos (15-60 seconds) for social media platforms Add captions, motion graphics, SFX, transitions, and relevant memes Repurpose long-form footage into bite-sized viral clips Identify viral trends, hooks, pacing techniques, and platform algorithms Collaborate with content strategists, videographers, and creative directors Optimize formats per platform (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut Understanding of social media trends, hooks, virality triggers Knowledge of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling for short-form content Basic sound mixing and color correction Ability to work fast under deadlines

Nice-to-Have

Motion graphics / After Effects Thumbnail design knowledge Basic meme content sense

Qualifications

0-2 years experience (freshers encouraged if skilled) Portfolio of short-form edits is mandatory*
