Role Overview:

Wonder One Media

is looking for a talented and creative

Video Editor

with 2 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and proficiency in industry-standard editing software. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble, edit, and enhance raw video footage into polished, finished products that align with project goals and brand guidelines. Work with producers, directors, and the creative team to understand project scope and deliver on the desired narrative and creative vision. Implement advanced editing techniques, including color correction/grading, sound mixing/audio enhancement, and motion graphics integration. Manage and organize all raw media and project files efficiently to maintain a clean and streamlined post-production workflow. Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders efficiently and accurately to finalize edits. Ensure all final video exports are correctly formatted and optimized for various distribution channels (e.g., social media, YouTube, website, broadcast). Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, equipment, and industry trends to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our content. Meet all project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously under a tight schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of proven professional experience

as a Video Editor or in a similar role. Expert proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g.,

Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro

). Demonstrable experience with

color correction/grading

and

audio editing/mixing

. Solid understanding of storytelling, visual pacing, continuity, and an exceptional attention to detail. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work and technical editing abilities. Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and file optimization techniques for web and mobile platforms. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

Experience with

Motion Graphics and Visual Effects

software (e.g., Adobe After Effects). Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience shooting/capturing raw footage (understanding of basic cinematography and lighting). Experience creating content for a specific niche (e.g., Social Media, Corporate, Documentary, E-Learning).
