Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Storytelling Specialist who can transform ideas, scripts, and raw footage into compelling visual stories. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of narrative, pacing, and visual aesthetics, along with technical expertise in video editing tools. This role requires the ability to communicate messages clearly and emotionally through video content aligned with brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging videos with a clear narrative structure. Develop and enhance storytelling through visuals, sound design, music, and pacing. Collaborate with content creators, writers, and marketing teams to understand project goals and target audiences. Add graphics, captions, transitions, and visual effects where appropriate. Ensure brand consistency in tone, style, and visual presentation across all video content. Optimize videos for different platforms such as social media, websites, and digital campaigns. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Review and revise content based on feedback from stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Video Editor, Storyteller, or similar role. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of storytelling principles, narrative flow, and audience engagement. Knowledge of color correction, sound editing, and basic motion graphics. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating content for digital marketing or social media platforms. Basic understanding of branding and content strategy. Knowledge of scripting or storyboarding is an advantage. Portfolio or samples demonstrating storytelling through video.
