Video Editor for Social Media

to produce engaging, trend-driven content for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, understand social media trends, and be able to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form and long-form videos.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit short-form and long-form content for social platforms. Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and motion graphics. Optimize videos according to platform formats and ratios. Repurpose content across multiple platforms. Stay updated on trends and viral formats. Color correction and basic sound editing. Work with creators and marketing teams. Ensure timely delivery of edits. Maintain file management and backups. Improve engagement through creative storytelling.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills:

Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve After Effects or motion design software (optional) CapCut / Adobe Express knowledge is a plus Sound design basics Color correction & grading

Creative Skills:

Strong storytelling sense Visual pacing and timing Social media optimization know-how

Soft Skills:

Time management Communication Creativity and adaptability Ability to meet deadlines

Education:

Degree/Diploma in Media, Design, or related field (preferred) Strong portfolio is mandatory
