Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented

Video Editor

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content including

social media reels, explainer videos, and podcast edits

from raw footage, AI-generated visuals, and online stock footage. This role is fully remote, requiring self-motivation, creativity, and the ability to deliver engaging and professional video content tailored to diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and produce

short-form videos

(Instagram/Facebook reels, YouTube shorts, TikTok) with strong storytelling and trend adaptation. Create

explainer videos

using raw recordings, AI-generated visuals, stock footage, and animations. Edit

podcast episodes

into polished video/audio formats with seamless transitions, background music, and engaging graphics. Source and integrate

stock footage, AI visuals, music, and sound effects

where required. Ensure brand consistency across all video outputs. Optimize videos for

different platforms

(social media, YouTube, websites, etc.). Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute video concepts. Stay updated on

trending video formats, editing styles, and AI tools

for video production.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a

video editor

with a strong portfolio of reels, explainer videos, and podcasts. Proficiency in

video editing software

(Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar). Knowledge of

motion graphics

and tools such as

After Effects/Canva/CapCut

(preferred but not mandatory). Ability to work with

AI-based video generation tools

and integrate them into edits. Strong sense of

storytelling, timing, and pacing

. Familiarity with various

aspect ratios, resolutions, and formats

required for different digital platforms. Creative mindset with the ability to

adapt to new styles and trends quickly

. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Background

Prior experience in editing

social media content

(reels, shorts, stories). Experience in

content marketing or agency settings

. Knowledge of

basic sound editing

for podcasts and videos.
