Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage into polished video content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc. Add music, dialogues, graphics, sound, and visual effects. Trim footage segments and assemble them into cohesive storytelling videos. Work with creative teams to understand project objectives and develop a consistent style and tone. Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions. Color correction, sound mixing, and finishing touches to meet high-quality standards. Manage multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines. Stay updated with the latest editing trends, tools, and techniques.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Video Editor (minimum 1 year preferred). Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.). Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and storytelling. Knowledge of color grading, motion graphics, and sound design is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Attention to detail and creative thinking. A portfolio or showreel of past work is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in [e.g., wedding editing, reels, corporate edits, etc.] Basic knowledge of photography or camera handling is a plus. Fluent in [English/Tamil/other relevant language if needed].
