You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into finished projects that match the company's vision and are suitable for online platforms, broadcasts, campaigns, or internal use.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage into polished final products using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
Collaborate with producers, directors, marketers, and other team members to understand project goals and creative direction.
Add music, sound effects, voice overs, graphics, and visual effects to enhance videos.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
Color correct and grade footage to ensure consistency and aesthetic quality.
Manage and organize media assets and project files.
Stay up to date with industry trends, editing techniques, and best practices.
Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Solid understanding of motion graphics, color correction, and sound design.
Creative mindset with strong storytelling abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Degree in Film Studies, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
Portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant editing work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with animation or motion design (e.g., After Effects).
Familiarity with social media video formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
Basic knowledge of photography or cinematography.
Experience with file management and cloud-based collaboration tools.
