Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video editing software. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw footage into compelling narratives that engage and captivate our audience. This position requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that aligns with project goals. Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project objectives and vision. Utilize various editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects to create high-quality video content. Incorporate graphics, sound effects, music, and voiceovers to enhance the overall production quality. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Maintain organized project files and backups using FTP protocols as necessary. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video editing and production.

Requirements

Proficiency in video editing software including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects. Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Bridge is a plus. Experience with 3D modeling software like Maya is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong understanding of typography and its application in video content. Basic photography skills are preferred to enhance visual storytelling capabilities. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
