Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Capture, edit, and produce videos for school events, assemblies, annual functions, and promotional campaigns. Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for social media, the school website, and internal presentations. Add music, voiceovers, sound effects, transitions, and graphics to videos. Collaborate with teachers, event coordinators, and the media team to understand project requirements. Maintain an organized video library and ensure timely delivery of projects. Design short highlight videos and reels for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.). Ensure high-quality visual standards and consistency in all school media content. Stay updated with new video editing trends, tools, and techniques to improve creative output. Support photography and basic graphic design tasks when required.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Editing, Media Production, Mass Communication, or a related field. Proven experience in video editing (school, media, or event-based experience preferred). Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar. Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color correction. Good understanding of audio editing and visual storytelling. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a school environment.
