Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our content team. You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating polished, engaging videos that align with our brand and storytelling goals. This role demands a strong eye for detail, storytelling ability, and a passion for video content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit raw video footage into polished content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, ads, websites, etc.). Add music, sound effects, graphics, animations, transitions, and subtitles as needed. Collaborate with content creators, marketers, and designers to bring concepts to life. Ensure consistency in style, branding, and messaging across all video content. Optimize videos for different platforms and formats (vertical, horizontal, reels, etc.). Manage video file organization, backups, and version control. Stay updated on video trends, editing techniques, and platform-specific requirements.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio or showreel. Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Knowledge of motion graphics and animation tools (After Effects or similar) is a plus. Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines. Creative mindset and a good sense of timing, visual awareness, and narrative flow.

Preferred Skills:

Experience editing content for YouTube, social media, or brand campaigns. Basic knowledge of color grading and sound design. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, etc.). Knowledge of video compression formats and optimization for web and social media.
