Video Editor Foodxp is a new television launched from the company that owns & operates Travelxp which is the world\'s leading travel channel, and one of the fastest-growing travel companies in the world. Travelxp has established a global footprint with a direct presence in more than 25 countries, such as India, the USA, UK, Germany, and reaching out to more than 500 million viewers. With Foodxp the vision is to grow the network stronger Years of Experience: 3-4 years Foodxp is seeking a video editor to work in our organization in Mumbai. You are suited for this position if you have what it takes to nurture and build your skills in one of India\'s foremost global media organizations. Job Duties and Responsibilities: As a video editor, you\'ll manage material such as camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects to produce a final film. This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills can determine the quality and delivery of the finished result. You\'ll usually work closely with the director to achieve the desired end result. You will need to:

• Splice raw footage together from various sources and shoots, and combine it with other scenes to create a cohesive story
• Evaluate edited footage to make sure it matches the story from the script and meets the narrative agenda of the producer and director of the film
• Edit footage into timelines and cut time out of certain shots to create a more impactful story for the audience
• Combine visual footage with audio sound effects, dialogue, ambient sound and a musical soundtrack to create more drama in the story
• Use computer editing software programs, video switching devices, digital video effects programs and other tools to piece together film components.
• Ensure all editing cuts, splices, changes and additions appear seamless and natural and help the story flow more effectively in the finished product
• Create sound effects by recording specific audio clips or choose audio effects from a database of sounds to include in the final show
• Discuss project timeline, narrative structure, story goals and more with the director and any producers as the project is edited

Job Type: Full-time Salary: 930,000.00 - 935,000.00 per month Benefits:
