Job Title: Video Editor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded footage into a polished final product that aligns with the company's branding, marketing goals, and creative vision. This role requires a strong sense of storytelling, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage into engaging and high-quality videos for various platforms including social media, websites, advertisements, and internal communications.

Incorporate graphics, effects, music, and sound to enhance storytelling.

Collaborate with the creative team, videographers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.

Review and select the best shots, rearranging scenes to create a logical and compelling flow.

Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and technical specifications.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.

Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or other industry-standard tools.

Strong portfolio showcasing editing projects across different styles and formats.

Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Good communication skills to interpret feedback and make necessary revisions.

Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communication, or related field.

Experience in color grading and audio editing.

Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe After Effects or Photoshop.
