Job Description

Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting or online distribution.

Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.

Input music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to enhance storytelling.

Create motion graphics or integrate visual effects as needed.

Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video.

Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and content teams to meet project deadlines and creative briefs.

Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, styles, and techniques.

Manage and organize video files, ensuring proper archiving and backups.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a strong portfolio.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, Photoshop, or Audition knowledge is a plus).

Solid understanding of timing, pacing, and storytelling in video.

Strong sense of music and sound design.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Attention to detail and a creative eye.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience editing for [Social Media / Podcast / Commercials / Corporate /].

Knowledge of color correction, grading, and audio mixing.

Basic understanding of camera formats and codecs.
