We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in video production and post-production, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media. You will be responsible for editing video content that engages our audience and enhances our brand's narrative.
Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into polished final products, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with project goals.
Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and creative vision.
Utilize various software tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid for video editing tasks.
Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D to enhance storytelling.
Perform photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One as needed for content creation.
Manage video assets through effective content management systems and FTP protocols.
Stay updated on industry trends in video production and post-production techniques to continuously improve skills.
Assist in filming and videography as required, ensuring all footage is captured effectively for editing.
Experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Avid, Final Cut Pro, Capture One, and Cinema 4D is essential.
Experience in both 2D and 3D animation is a plus.
Strong understanding of post-production workflows including color grading, audio mixing, and video compression techniques.
Familiarity with graphic design principles to create compelling visuals that complement video content.
Previous experience in content creation or working within a fast-paced production environment is highly desirable.
