Ignited Spectrum is a dynamic and innovative video production agency dedicated to helping brands showcase their stories through impactful films.

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and engages our target audience.

Position Overview:

As a Video Editor at Ignited Spectrum, you will play a crucial role in the post-production process, bringing together raw footage, music, and graphics to create compelling and visually appealing videos. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the creative team to deliver videos that meet or exceed our standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Edit video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and other digital channels.

2. Review and organize raw footage, ensuring the highest quality and selecting the best shots for the final product.

3. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals, objectives, and timelines.

4. Add graphics, special effects, and animations as needed to enhance the visual appeal of videos.

5. Ensure continuity and consistency across all video content, maintaining the brand's visual identity.

6. Edit sound and music to enhance the overall quality of the videos.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative editing techniques to elevate the quality of our video content.

8. Manage and organize video files and assets for easy access and retrieval.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

2. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects along with Adobe Photoshop & Canva)

3. Strong understanding of video production processes and techniques.

4. Creative thinking and the ability to bring a fresh perspective to video projects.

5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

7. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Knowledge of the latest trends in video editing and production.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
