Job Summary

SpiderWorks Technologies is looking for a creative and detail-oriented

Video Editor

to join our team in Calicut. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual aesthetics, and be capable of producing engaging video content for digital platforms, branding, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality videos aligned with brand guidelines Create engaging videos for social media, websites, ads, and marketing campaigns Add music, sound effects, graphics, subtitles, and basic animations Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements Ensure timely delivery of videos while maintaining quality standards Perform basic color correction and audio enhancements Maintain organized project files and video assets Stay updated with current video trends, formats, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role Proficiency in video editing software such as

Adobe Premiere Pro

,

After Effects

,

Final Cut Pro

, or

DaVinci Resolve

Good understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Attention to detail and creativity

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of motion graphics and basic VFX Experience editing videos for digital marketing or social media platforms Familiarity with branding and marketing concepts Bachelor's degree or diploma in Media, Animation, Film, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
