About the Role

Longefit seeks a skilled Video Editor with 3+ years of experience to craft compelling fitness content for social media, campaigns, and brand storytelling. Expertise in After Effects and AI editing tools is essential to create dynamic, trend-forward videos that boost engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw footage from workouts, events, and testimonials into polished videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and ads, ensuring high retention and strong CTAs. Design advanced motion graphics, animations, and VFX using After Effects to elevate fitness content with professional flair. Leverage AI tools (e.g., Runway ML, Adobe Firefly, Descript, CapCut AI features) for rapid editing, auto-subtitles, object removal, scene generation, and upscaling. Repurpose long-form videos into short-form assets, optimizing for platform algorithms and fitness audience trends. Collaborate with marketing and studio teams on briefs, revisions, and multi-platform deliverables while maintaining brand guidelines. Organize projects, exports, and assets for scalability across Longefit's expanding studios.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio in social media content, ads, or brand videos (fitness/lifestyle preferred). Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, compositing, and kinetic typography. Hands-on experience with AI editing tools like Runway, Adobe Sensei/Firefly, Topaz Video AI, or similar for efficient workflows. Expertise in Premiere Pro, with bonus in DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or CapCut; solid audio mixing and color grading skills. Proven ability to handle fast-paced deadlines, iterate quickly, and deliver pixel-perfect results under pressure. ?Excellent storytelling sense, trend awareness (e.g., viral transitions, hooks), and communication for team feedback.
