Role Overview

We're looking for a

sharp, fast, and detail-obsessed AI Video Editor

to join HUMN AI as our

core in-house editor

.

Right now, our AI generative pipeline is strong (Sora/Veo/Kling/Nano Banana, etc.), but the bottleneck is

post-production

--polishing those raw AI clips into

tight, cinematic ads and brand films

on deadline.

Your mission:
Own everything from

raw AI-generated clips ? final export

, maintain consistency across shots, and work closely with our creative & AI prompt team to deliver

scroll-stopping videos

for our clients.

What You'll Own (Key Responsibilities)

End-to-end editing

Take AI-generated video clips, stock shots, screen recordings, and voiceovers and turn them into finished ads, reels, explainers, and training videos. Edit for pacing, clarity, story, and emotional impact (especially for 10-60 sec social ads).

AI-first workflow

Work with outputs from tools like Runway, Pika, Veo, Sora-style models, Nano Banana, Kling, etc. (we'll train you on our stack if needed). Give structured feedback to the AI/prompt team when a shot needs re-generation (framing, motion, continuity, lighting, etc.).

Brand & visual consistency

Maintain consistent look across all shots in a project (color, contrast, grain, LUTs, framing). Adapt to different client brands while respecting HUMN AI's high-end visual standards.

Motion graphics & text

Add clean motion graphics: titles, lower thirds, kinetic typography, UI overlays, simple logo animations. Design social-native layouts (safe zones, bold hooks, big text for mobile viewers).

Sound design

Sync and clean voiceovers (often AI-generated via ElevenLabs/HeyGen etc.). Add and mix background music, SFX, impacts, risers, whooshes to enhance storytelling.

Multi-format delivery

Create versions for multiple platforms: 9:16 Reels/Shorts, 16:9 YouTube, 1:1 feed, etc. Export, compress, and QC delivery files so they're platform-ready.

Project management & systems

Maintain organized timelines, folder structures, and file naming so projects are easy to revisit. Build and refine internal templates, presets, and SOPs for repeatable editing workflows.
Must-Have Skills & Experience

Experience

2+ years of professional video editing (agency, production house, startup, or strong freelance track record). Strong portfolio with

ads, social content, or promo videos

(links required).

Technical

Proficient in

Adobe Premiere Pro

or

DaVinci Resolve

(primary editing tool). Working knowledge of

After Effects

or equivalent motion graphics software (for titles, transitions, simple animations). Solid understanding of: Storytelling & pacing for short-form content Color correction & basic grading Audio mixing and sound cleanliness

Mindset

Comfort working in a

fast-paced, iterative environment

with frequent feedback cycles. Ability to own deadlines and manage multiple projects in parallel. High attention to detail -- small glitches, mismatched cuts, or off-beat audio should bother you.
Good-to-Have (Bonus)

Experience editing videos that include: AI-generated avatars, lip-sync, or talking heads Animated UI / SaaS explainer visuals Familiarity with any AI tools: Runway, Pika, Veo, Stable Video, Sora-like tools ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Synthesia, etc. Comfortable working with

multi-language content

(especially Malayalam/Arabic/English subtitles & VO). Interest in automation: using templates, macros, or integrations to speed up repetitive editing tasks.
