We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team and focus specifically on producing engaging, high-quality video content for all our social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.). The ideal candidate is adept at translating raw footage into compelling, platform-specific narratives that capture attention and drive engagement.

Position Summary

The Video Editor will be responsible for the entire post-production process, from assembly and basic color correction to sound design and motion graphics integration, ensuring all videos adhere to brand guidelines and are optimized for maximum performance across various social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and Assemble: Transform raw video footage into polished, high-impact short-form and long-form videos optimized for social media platforms. Platform Optimization: Ensure final cuts adhere to specific platform requirements, including aspect ratios (e.g., 9:16 vertical for Reels/Shorts), duration, file size, and quality settings. Motion Graphics & Text Overlays: Design and integrate dynamic on-screen text, captions, lower thirds, and basic motion graphics (e.g., titles, emojis) to enhance storytelling and comprehension, especially for sound-off viewing. Sound Design & Music: Select and license appropriate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to elevate the content's mood and pacing, ensuring audio is mixed to professional standards. Color Correction & Grading: Perform basic color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency and brand aesthetic across all videos. Review and Revision: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to implement feedback and iterate on edits quickly and efficiently. Asset Management: Organize, archive, and manage video projects, media assets, and final deliverables. Trend Awareness: Stay current with the latest social media video trends, editing styles, and platform features to continually refresh content formats.
