Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and experienced Video Editor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in video editing and a strong portfolio that showcases their expertise in crafting visually stunning and story-driven video content. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing footage, adding special effects, sound design, color grading, and ensuring the final product aligns with the vision and goals of our production team.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality video content for various media platforms (e.g., social media, TV, web, film). Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the project's vision and goals. Perform color grading, sound mixing, and video effects enhancements to create the desired final output. Manage and organize video files and assets effectively. Ensure deadlines are met without compromising the quality of work. Stay updated on industry trends and video editing techniques to bring fresh ideas and improvements to our projects. Collaborate on creative decisions and provide technical input for production planning.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar. Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios. Experience with motion graphics and special effects (Adobe After Effects is a plus). Knowledge of sound design and audio editing. A strong sense of visual storytelling and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with multi-camera editing. Knowledge of 3D animation or VFX. Familiarity with cinematography and production processes. Ability to handle tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
