Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a polished final product (video + audio).
Trim footage segments, apply transitions, add music, dialogue, graphics, and effects.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and deliver the desired message.
Create visually engaging content for social media, marketing campaigns, and long-form videos.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product.
Color correct, enhance audio, and optimize video quality.
Stay updated with industry trends, editing tools, and best practices.
Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Organize and archive video assets for future use.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of motion graphics; experience with After Effects is a plus.
Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
Knowledge of sound design and color grading techniques.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong attention to detail and creativity.
A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
Experience in filming or operating camera equipment.
