Job Description

Own the edit from brief to final export. You'll craft high-retention story videos-founder films, case studies, ads, reels/shorts using Adobe Creative Cloud. Narrative first, polish always.

Responsibilities

Translate briefs into storyboards and edit plans Edit in Premiere Pro; motion graphics in After Effects; sound mix in Audition Color correction/grading with Lumetri; clean dialogue, add SFX and licensed music Design titles, lower-thirds, supers, and end cards; create captions and subtitles Deliver platform-specific versions (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and thumbnails Maintain project hygiene: file naming, proxies, backups, and version control Collaborate with marketing on hooks, CTAs, and analytics-driven iterations
Must-have skills

Premiere Pro power user; strong After Effects and Audition Storytelling chops: pacing, structure, emotional beats, and clarity Motion design basics, kinetic typography, transitions, speed ramps Color, audio, and export best practices for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn Photoshop/Illustrator for quick assets; Frame.io or similar for reviews 2-4 years of relevant experience with a portfolio/showreel
Nice to have

Camera operation, lighting fundamentals, and on-set etiquette DaVinci Resolve for advanced color MOGRT template creation; LUT/SFX library management Regional language subtitles (Kannada/Hindi) Automotive, food, and D2C content experience
KPIs you'll own

Average view duration and retention (aim 40%+ on short-form) On-time delivery (typical TAT 48-72 hours per asset) Brand consistency and zero re-export errors Organized project files and reusable templates
Sample test (hiring)

Edit a 45-60s story from provided footage: cold open hook, clear arc, captions, sound mix, color grade, plus a 15s cutdown and thumbnail.
