The video editor is responsible for editing videos and coordinating with the operations head and clients as and when required for edit inputs.
Responsibility Deliverables:
Video editing and file management.
Quality control, meeting delivery timelines, and technical proficiency.
Communication with client and technical team.
Tasks and Activities:
1) Video editing and file management:
Editing video content, including but not limited to,
wedding films
,
corporate videos
,
marketing campaigns
,
social media content
, and more.
Reviewing and selecting the best shots from raw video footage.
Selecting the audio tracks to best suit the video.
Sync and edit audio tracks to ensure high-quality sound.
Apply transitions, effects, and animations to enhance video quality.
Color grading - adjusting and enhancing video colors to achieve a consistent and professional look.
Working with the team to ensure videos convey the desired message and story effectively.
Organizing and managing files, ensuring efficient and secure storage of data.
2) Quality control, delivery timelines, and technical proficiency:
Review final videos for errors or inconsistencies, making necessary revisions as needed.
Stay updated on the latest video editing software and techniques to ensure work remains current and relevant.
Adhering to the timelines for project completion.
Updating the log of project status for the operations executive to communicate to the client.
3) Communication with client, and technical team:
Coordinating with the clients on finer details required for a smooth flow of the edit.
Coordinating with the technical team about the shoot to optimize the selection of shots.
