Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic production house. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and proficiency in video editing software. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with our clients' vision and brand identity.

Responsibilities

Edit raw footage and assemble it into a sequence to create a finished product. Review and select footage, syncing it with the audio and adding effects, transitions, and graphics. Collaborate with the creative team to understand the project vision and ensure the final product aligns with the desired outcome. Utilise video editing software proficiently to manipulate video and audio elements (

Adobe Suite and/or DaVinci Resolve

). Colour correct and grade footage to achieve the desired visual aesthetic. Add sound effects, music, and voiceovers to enhance the video's impact. Ensure the final video meets technical specifications and adheres to industry standards. Participate in the post-production process, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments. Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and technologies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of work. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Excellent understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolutions. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Creativity and ability to tell compelling stories through visuals. Collaboration skills to work effectively with the creative team. Problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges. A passion for video and a desire to create exceptional content.
