About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of hands-on experience in editing videos for digital platforms, be skilled in post-production tools, and have a strong sense of visual storytelling. You will be working closely with our content and marketing teams to create engaging video content for various platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into polished video content for marketing, branding, social media, internal communication, and client projects.
Add motion graphics, effects, sound, transitions, and other creative elements to enhance video quality.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project scope and deliver videos aligned with brand guidelines.
Organize and manage media assets and file storage systematically.
Adapt video formats to suit different platforms like Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
Work with tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices in video editing.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a video editor.
Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics tools.
Strong understanding of pacing, timing, and storytelling through video.
Good sense of colour correction, audio editing, and visual aesthetics.
Familiarity with different aspect ratios and export formats.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setup.
Strong organizational and file management skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience working with animation or explainer videos.
Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
Basic understanding of social media trends and video optimization for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
Experience with script writing or storyboard creation.
Familiarity with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and basic videography.
