Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in editing video content for various platforms including social media, websites, YouTube, and other digital channels. Edit raw footage, add effects, music, transitions, and sound to create high-quality final videos. Collaborate with the creative team to understand the project requirements and deliver content that aligns with the vision. Help with video color correction, audio enhancement, and optimizing videos for different formats and resolutions. Organize and manage video files and assets to ensure smooth workflow within the team. Assist in creating motion graphics and simple animations (if applicable). Support the team in any additional video production tasks, including reviewing edits and making revisions based on feedback. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing and content creation.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Media Arts, or a related field. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or other relevant programs. A basic understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling, and video production processes. Creative mindset with an eye for detail and high-quality visuals. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. A portfolio or sample of previous video work (even if personal or academic projects) is highly preferred. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation (Adobe After Effects, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
