Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling video content that engages and captivates our audience. You will work closely with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure that the final product aligns with our brand's vision and storytelling goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, post-production, and a keen eye for detail.

Duties

Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that meets the director's vision. Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and deadlines. Utilize various software tools to enhance video quality, including color correction, sound editing, and special effects. Create motion graphics and visual effects to elevate the storytelling experience. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct post-production tasks such as video rendering, exporting, and archiving files. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video production.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, and Bridge. Experience with Final Cut Pro and Avid for video editing. Knowledge of motion graphics creation using tools like Cinema 4D and Maya. Strong skills in photo editing and manipulation techniques. Familiarity with videography principles and filming techniques. Understanding of typography principles in graphic design. Experience with content management systems for organizing digital assets. Ability to work with FTP for file transfers and collaboration. Knowledge of 2D and 3D animation concepts is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
