About the job

This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor and Graphic Designer located in Coimbatore. The Video Editor and Graphic Designer will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing visuals by performing tasks like designing and developing audio-visual content, brand communications, and product marketing materials. The ideal candidate should have a knack for creativity and be able to develop engaging and innovative design options that encourage customers to remain connected with our company.

Key Responsibilities -

Edit raw video footage, including colour correction, audio enhancement, and visual effects, to produce engaging and cohesive video content. Collaborate closely with the content creation and digital marketing teams to understand project objectives, requirements, and desired outcomes. Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient file management and accessibility for the team. Provide input on creative decisions, including shot selection, sequencing, and storytelling, to enhance the overall quality of videos. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing, animation, and motion graphics to continuously improve the quality of our content. Inputting effects, graphics, dialogues, sound effects and music into videos to make them more appealing to the audience. Present concept visualisation through sketches, drawings, and illustrations. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to videos while meeting project deadlines. Work closely with the graphics and production teams to ensure seamless integration of visual and auditory elements. Optimize videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations, while adhering to platform-specific requirements and guidelines. Maintain a well-organised library of video assets, project files, and templates for efficient workflow. Occasionally participate in video shoots, assisting with camera operation, lighting, and on-set direction when needed. Manage timelines and prioritize workloads, and know when to ask for direction. A strong portfolio of works or a demonstrated potential for great work.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in video editing with D2C industry a marketing agency or similar industry Degree or diploma in graphic design, video production, or a related field Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously Creative experience in filmmaking and videography Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with clients and the ability to bring them to life Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top-notch finalised products Being passionate about health and fitness is an added advantage

Certifications

Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs, certification from any reputed organisation

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
