. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of visual storytelling, trends, transitions, and audio syncing to create high-performing social media content.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit high-quality and engaging Reels, Shorts, and short-form videos for various social media platforms.
Add transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, subtitles, effects, and music in line with current trends.
Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketers to understand the creative direction and brand tone.
Manage raw footage, organize media, and maintain structured project files.
Repurpose long-form videos into short, snappy content.
Stay up to date with the latest trends, audio tracks, and formats on Instagram and TikTok.
Ensure brand consistency and timely delivery of content.
Requirements:
Proven experience editing social media videos, especially Reels or Shorts.
Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
Knowledge of aspect ratios and platform-specific requirements.
Creative mindset with a strong eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Good understanding of social media algorithms and what drives engagement.
Preferred:
Experience with motion graphics (After Effects or similar).
Understanding of influencer or fashion/lifestyle content (if relevant).
Basic knowledge of color grading and sound design.
