Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a strong understanding of branding and digital design. This role will involve collaborating with various departments to produce high-quality video content that aligns with our marketing strategies and enhances our online presence.

Responsibilities

Edit video footage to create compelling narratives that engage our audience. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video content that supports branding initiatives. Utilise Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Photoshop, to produce high-quality videos. Incorporate graphics, animations, and sound effects to enhance video presentations. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Work with content management systems and ensure videos are optimised for web distribution. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video editing and digital design. Assist in photography and UI design projects as needed, contributing to overall digital strategy.

Experience

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects), CorelDRAW, and Figma is essential. Familiarity with web design principles including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress is advantageous. Strong graphic design skills using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Sketch, and InVision. Experience in branding and marketing strategies is highly desirable. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas effectively. A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.
