About the Role

We are looking for a creative and highly skilled

Video Editor

with strong proficiency in both traditional editing software and mainly

AI-based editing tools

. The ideal candidate should be able to turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality content optimized for the JOJO App and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos as per content requirements. Work closely with directors, content creators, and the production team to understand the vision and style. Add graphics, animations, sound effects, subtitles, and perform color correction to enhance the final output. Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across projects. Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. Organize and maintain footage, project files, and backups systematically. Suggest creative ideas, transitions, and visual elements to improve content quality. Coordinate with the shoot team for required footage or retakes. Export and deliver final videos in various formats suitable for app, social media, and campaigns.

AI Editing Responsibilities

Use

AI editing tools

(Runway, Descript, Pika Labs, Adobe AI tools, etc.) to speed up workflows and improve visual quality. Generate auto-subtitles, AI-based captions, voice cleanup, and background noise removal. Use AI tools for background replacement, scene enhancement, object removal, or quick VFX where required. Apply AI features for motion tracking, stabilization, facial cleanup, and color matching. Experiment with AI-generated elements (scenes, transitions, effects) when creatively suitable. Continuously explore new AI tools and integrate them into the editing pipeline for efficiency and creativity.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Video Editor. Strong proficiency in traditional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Hands-on experience with

AI video editing tools

(Runway, Pika, Descript, Kapwing AI, Adobe Firefly, etc.). Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, color grading, audio leveling, and post-production workflow. Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines. Understanding of social media formats, vertical video editing, and trending video styles.

Preferred Skills

Experience in motion graphics or basic 2D animation. Knowledge of AI-driven video generation, clean-up, and enhancement tools. Familiarity with digital entertainment and fast-paced content environments. Creative mindset and strong problem-solving approach.
