Job Overview:

We're looking for a

creative and skilled Video Editor

with 1-2 years of experience in editing compelling video content tailored for social media platforms. You'll elevate content that reflects our brand voice, drives engagement, and makes moments come alive visually.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit

high-quality short-form and long-form videos

for social platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, etc. Transform raw footage into engaging, polished final videos using creative storytelling techniques, pacing, transitions, and effects. Add

text overlays, captions, motion graphics, sound design, and visual enhancements

to boost engagement. Repurpose long-form content into

short clips

optimized for trending formats. Collaborate with the

content & marketing teams

to understand creative briefs and deliver videos aligned with brand goals. Stay updated on

social media trends, platform formats, and algorithm best practices

to keep content fresh. Organize and manage video assets -- ensure proper file naming, backups, and archive management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

:

1-2 years of video editing experience

, preferably with social media content. Strong proficiency with video editing tools:

Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve

, or similar. Experience creating content formatted for vertical platforms (9:16) and short-form trends. Good sense of

visual storytelling, pacing, timing, and audience engagement

. Ability to add

text, graphics, captions and audio enhancements

that enhance viewer retention. A

portfolio of video work

demonstrating creative range & editing chops.

Preferred Skills:

Basic motion graphics or

After Effects

skills. Familiarity with social media analytics and performance metrics.
