We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting engaging visual content that aligns with our brand identity and storytelling objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from promotional videos to social media content, utilising a broad range of editing techniques and software tools. The successful applicant will demonstrate a keen eye for detail, colour grading, and seamless editing, ensuring high-quality outputs that captivate our audience.

Duties

Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations. Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects. Incorporate graphics, colour correction, sound effects, and music to enhance visual storytelling. Utilise Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other editing software to produce professional-quality videos. Create visual assets using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign as needed for video projects. Apply specialised effects using Adobe After Effects to add motion graphics and visual enhancements. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Maintain organised project files and backups for efficient workflow management. Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and digital media production.

Requirements

Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign) and Final Cut Pro. Solid understanding of photography principles and colour grading techniques. Experience in video editing for various formats and platforms. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. Strong attention to detail and creative flair in visual storytelling. Knowledge of audio editing and sound design is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
