Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for editing engaging and visually appealing reels and shorts that resonate with our audience and align with our brand's voice and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit high-quality reels and short-form videos for various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. Collaborate with the content team to understand project scope, objectives, and deadlines. Apply creative video editing techniques, including cutting, trimming, adding effects, transitions, and audio enhancements. Ensure all videos are optimized for each platform, considering aspect ratios, durations, and audience engagement strategies. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in short-form video content and incorporate innovative ideas into your edits. Work with motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video storytelling. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality. Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve video content.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing reels and short-form video content. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects software like After Effects is a plus. Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback. Creativity and passion for video storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in content creation or working with brands in the digital marketing space. Knowledge of audio editing and sound design.
