Adding
emotional triggers
(music, pacing, silence, close-ups) to make content hit harder
Must-Have Skills
Strong sense of storytelling
Basic understanding of digital marketing terms (leads, ads, conversions, etc.)
Ability to create attention-grabbing hooks
Good command of captions, subtitles & on-screen text
Knows how to add relevant b-roll that supports the message
Eye for pacing, retention, and flow
Consistency + ability to meet deadlines
Trend-aware (YouTube talking-head edits, Reels pacing)
