Video Editing Faculty

to train and mentor students in the field of video editing and post-production. The role involves teaching industry-standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related software, along with guiding students on professional editing techniques, storytelling, motion graphics, and creative project development.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in video editing, a strong portfolio, and good teaching or mentoring skills. Strong communication, patience, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for students are essential. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Edit raw video footage into engaging and professional content. Add graphics, effects, animations, and sound to enhance video quality. Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to understand project requirements. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality video content. Stay updated with the latest editing tools, trends, and techniques.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio required). Proficiency in software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools. Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and storytelling. Creativity and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
